Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American model, TV host and actress - is an American comedian. Angelica Hale desperately needed life-saving medical intervention and was put on ECMO Life-support in Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. The patient became sick, and suffered organ failure including kidneys which did not heal. It was then a regimen of hemodialysis, followed by peritoneal dilution. After nearly 80 days in the hospital, from the point of death to a long journey to recovery she finally made it home but the course of her life changed forever. Angelica was on dialysis for over a decade half before she could undergo her kidney transplant. The kidney she would receive from only her mom. Angelica as well as her mom underwent an organ transplant successfully on September 13, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were close to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person from the beginning.
